About Us

Active360 was launched in early 2011 with the aim of developing paddleboarding in London.  There was not much SUP happening in London then and with a huge underused river and canal system and 10 million people it seemed like a great opportunity.  Dave Hackford, John Hibbard from Tushingham and Alex Tobutt from Naish were all very helpful and keen to see the London market get started.  We started off with 20 boards from different brands and kept adding new brands and types of boards so we could form a good overview of the SUP market. We could see that some boards were much better than others - often at the same or a lower price.  We have always been very independent of brands and keen to buy and use the best and best value.

Since March 2011 we have introduced thousands of people to the sport and run many SUP events and trips.  We have taken groups to and paddled SUPs in Greenland, Iceland, Sardinia, the Hebrides, East India, Myanmar, Thailand, Slovenia and around England.

We are committed to protecting the environment and in particular the marine environment and we are always looking for ways to reduce and re use packaging, transport by the greenest methods, offset our carbon footprint and avoid waste.

We only sell equipment we have tried and tested and found to be good value.  We offer opportunities to test most equipment we sell. Where possible we suggest that the buyer compares with other options available to make an experience informed decision.  We are different from many equipment suppliers in that our main focus is on development of the sport of Stand Up Paddleboarding and not on selling equipment.

Our main centres for testing equipment are at Paddington and Kew Bridge are both well connected by rail, underground and bus routes.

We are committed to continually improving service and since 2016 have been employing Feefo to seek the views of our customers.  We also have a certificate of excellence on Trip Advisor  You can check our reviews and feedback to see what people think of us.
